Do I need to bring anything to serve food on?

We have a kitchen stocked with cutlery and crockery. If possible please do not bring plastic plates and cutlery as this creates unnecessary waste.

Is there anywhere to eat nearby?

There are a few lovely places near Applecross Basin to eat. We love Rockvilla Pizza, Gathering Ground Cafe and Ocho. All of these do takeaway which can be brought onboard.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the trip?

Bad weather, particularly high winds, sometimes means a boat trip needs to be cancelled. In these circumstances we'll be in touch with as much notice as possible to rearrange your trip or find an alternative solution (eg. static hire).

Can I play my own music on the boat?

There are no speakers on the boat but feel free to bring along your own portable speakers to play your music on the trip.

Will I get sea sick?

The canal tends to be very still but can at times rock very slightly. Many previous customers who have been nervous about this have been surprised by how little they were affected.

We have an idea for something we would like to use your boat for but you don't have it listed, can we make special requests?

Certainly. If you have a more far out idea for how you would like to use the boat get in touch and ask, the worst that can happen is we say no! Generally speaking however we will do all we can to accommodate your needs.
